Know the monthly search volume of the particular keywords and analyse how many competitors have made videos on that keywords.
Choose the keyword with low keyword difficulties and high search volume to rank your videos higher than your competitors.
The basic keyword should be in your channel name. You can add more keywords along with basic keywords in the title of your videos and in the description.
For example, 'comedy video' is your basic keyword and your channel name. You can add more and more videos naming comedy videos of Kapil Sharma, comedy videos of Raju Shrivastava and so on.
3 Select your channel name
Based on your research about keywords finalise the channel name for your YouTube channel.
Please keep in mind the niche in which you want to make videos.
Generate a fancy name for your YouTube channel so viewers can correlate with the topic and have a maximum search volume.
It will increase the number of viewers just after launching your first video.
4 Create a Gmail Account
After finalising the name of your YouTube channel create a Gmail account with the same name to give professional feelings to your viewers who may want to contact you.
5 Sign up for YouTube
Now start setting up your YouTube channel by signing up for YouTube with the Gmail you have created and the name you have decided for your YouTube channel.

1 Sign In
As you have signed up for YouTube, log in to your account after verification of your Gmail account.
2 Customize your Channel
Click on your profile icon, click on your channel and then click on customize channel.
A new tab of your creative studio will open.
On the top menu, you will find Branding. Start with customizing your Brand.
3 Create a Logo
You can create a unique logo or profile picture of your channel to give a professional approach and look like a brand at Canva.
Recommended size 98 x 98 pixel and 4 Mb or less. You can use PNG or GIF.
The logo should represent the topic of your video.

4 Create a Banner
Your channel banner will appear on the top of your channel.
It should be a 2048 x1152 Pixel and 6 Mb or less.
One thing you should remember is that it will look different on desktop, tab and mobile devices.

Here you will find that I have added the logo and text in the centre so that it may look the same on all devices.

Keeping these criteria in your mind you can create your channel banner which should look attractive on all devices and should not look like a cropped image.
Although I have taken care of these criteria still on mobile my logo is slightly cropped which I have noticed now. I will rectify it.
5 Add video Watermark
Your video watermark will appear in the right-hand corner of your video giving it a look like a professional video.
This show that you have the copyright of your video.
It should be 150x150 pixels. You can choose the display time of the watermark at the end of the video, the entire video or you can customize the start time to display the watermark.
6 Add Basic Info
For basic info, you can add your website URL, and other social media links so that the viewers can visit your website or connect you on social media for further queries.
These links will be visible on the banner of your channel.
Also, add a brief description of your channel so that viewers can come to know what they are going to gain from watching your videos.
This description also helps search engines to find out the content of your channel thus ranking your channel on particular keyword searches.
7 Upload Video.
Now you can start uploading videos.
Add different titles and descriptions to each video keeping keywords in your mind.
Select an attractive thumbnail from your video or upload a thumbnail that can develop viewers' curiosity to watch your video.
Remember don't add misleading thumbnails which will increase the fast existence and low watch hours.
Select Layout
Select the video which will be a trailer video for the people who have not subscribed to your YouTube channel.
Also, select a featured video for the people who have subscribed to your channel since they will not like to see the same starting video, again and again, every time they visit your channel.
You can also add sections of your videos depending upon the topics of your videos. It will ease your viewers.

It's better to provide complete details and genuine reviews about the products or services in your video and create the needs and will to purchase your product or service.
